1. Programme
The programme is set on R. Meynet’s Exercises on Biblical Rhetorical Analysis. The work will apply email communications and Zoom sessions called upon whenever the student will be ready for presentation and discussion. The progress will be personalized to suit to each participant. Therefore, some may complete it within one semester, others might need two semesters.
2. Facilitator
The program will be facilitated by Professor Bernard Witek, a member of the RBS.
3. Requirements
It is more than desirable to know the biblical languages, Hebrew and Greek. However, it is not compulsory. One can work, if necessary, on very literally translated texts.
4. Handbooks
Ronald Meynet, Exercises of Biblical Rhetorical Analysis. Translation of the Second French edition, RBSem 53, Peeters, Leuven 2025.
Ronald Meynet, Treatise on Biblical Rhetoric. Second Complete English Edition. Translation of the Third Revised and Enlarged Edition, RBSem 52, Peeters, Leuven 2025.

It is advisable to purchase them so that you always have them to hand, but they can also be consulted in libraries.
The simplest and safest way is to order them directly from the publisher (Peeters):
R. Meynet, Exercises of Biblical Rhetorical Analysis.
R. Meynet, Treatise on Biblical Rhetoric.
