The International Association for the Study of Biblical and Semitic Rhetoric returns for its biennial International Conference, to be held at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome (Central Building: C 109) from 29 September to 1 October.
Most of the lectures this year will consist of analyses of religious texts: six from the Old Testament, six from the New Testament, two from The Qur’an, and one from the Rule of Saint Benedict.
This time there will be no methodological study; instead, the current Secretary, a founding member of the RBS, will present a brief history of the Association and its activities, training, research and publications.
The speakers at the Conference come from ten different countries.
